POST: Accounting with Computerized Financial Systems (Lecturer PL 1) SALARY: R256 395.00 plus 37% in lieu of benefits DURATION: August 2024 to 30 November 2024 CENTRE: Pretoria Campus Ref: Ref no. TNC/PC/24 – 08/1  Requirements: Matric certificate plus an appropriate M+3 Qualification (National diploma/ bachelor’s Degree) having majored in Accounting and Computerized Financial System/Certificate in PASTEL. Teaching methodology is prerequisite. Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) SACE registration. 1 year teaching experience in Accounting N4-N6 and Computerized Financial Systems and or Applied Accounting L2-L4 and PASTEL L4. Assessor/Moderator qualification will be an added advantage, Knowledge of Legislation governing the sector.  Duties: The incumbent will be responsible for teaching L2-L4 Applied Accounting, preparing assessment and do moderation. Conducting assessments and marking of tasks Conducting of ISAT, Preparation of file (POA & POE), Record keeping (recording of marks) and lesson planning. Conduct classes on the above-mentioned subjects. Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner. Assess and record the attainment of learners. Assist with the issuing and retrieval of textbooks and management of equipment etc. Organize experiential training for students. Report and account for student performance in their programmes. Record and report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning. APPLICATIONS: Applications must be submitted on the New Z83 form which must be fully completed, obtainable from any Public Service Department and must be accompanied by a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae and Academic Record.
