POST: Lecturer: NC(V) Mechanical Engineering L2-4 (2 posts)SALARY: R256 395.00 plus 37% in lieu of benefitsDURATION: February to December 2025CENTRE: Temba CampusRef: TNC/TC/25 – 01/12 (Fabrication)TNC/TC/25 – 01/13 (Boiler Making) Requirements: Matric certificate/NCV L4 plus an appropriate M+3 Qualification (National diploma/ bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (Fabrication/Boiler making). Must have a professional qualification or currently studying professional qualification in Education. SACE registration. Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).1-year teaching experience in Mechanical subjects L2-L4 will be an added advantage. Assessor/Moderator qualification will be an added advantage, Knowledge of Legislation governing the sector. Duties: The incumbent will be responsible for teaching NC(V) L2-L4 Mechanical Engineering Subjects, preparing assessment and moderation. Conducting assessments and marking of tasks Conducting of ISAT, Preparation of file (POA & POE), Record keeping (recording of marks) and lesson planning. Conduct classes on the above-mentioned subjects. Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner. Assess and record the attainment of learners. Assist with the issuing and retrieval of textbooks and management of equipment etc. Organize experiential training for students. Report and account for student performance in their programmes.
